LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Kristopher "Kris" Scott Rumsey, age 38, passed away Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was born December 8, 1982, in Lancaster, SC, a son of George Patton "Pat" Rumsey, Sr. and Kay Preuss Rumsey. Kris was a very talented artist and loved to draw. He was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.

Kris is survived by his parents, Pat and Kay Rumsey; two brothers, Pat Rumsey, Jr. (Patty) and Brandon Rumsey (Courtney); his sister, Mindy Brown (Mike) of Greer, SC; two nieces, Claire Rumsey and Carly Shae Rumsey; two nephews, Justin Brown (Miranda) and Jacob Brown; three great nieces; a close aunt, Terry Cauthen; and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kris was preceded in death by an infant brother, Terrill Scott Rumsey; maternal grandmother, Frances Estridge; and paternal grandmother, Helen Rumsey.

The Celebration of Life Service for Kris will be private out of caution for ongoing Covid concerns.
