LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Kolt Devin Powers, age 22, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018. He was born February 15, 1996 in Lancaster, the son of James William Powers and Karen Melissa Miles. Kolt was employed with USIC Utility Service Company. He loved his family, his dogs, Maggie and Lily, and football. The New England Patriots was his favorite team.

Kolt is survived by his parents, James William Powers and his wife, Angela of Kershaw and his mother, Karen Melissa Miles of Lancaster; his grandparents, Charlona and Danny Flynn of Lancaster; four sisters, Kimberly Watkins (Justin) and Kasey Powers (Shane Thompson) both of Lancaster; Rachel Bowers of Kershaw and Brittany Pierce and fianc, Lawrence Stover of Kershaw; a niece, Kiela Thompson and nephew, Ryder Watkins.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Kolt will be private. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Wednesday evening, July 25, 2018 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster, SC.
