LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Kimberly Ann Duncan Self, age 44, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Atrium Health Union.  She was born August 9, 1976 in Charlotte, NC, a daughter of Charles Samuel "Sam" Duncan and the late Beverly Hinson Duncan.  Kim loved music and going to the beach.  She loved her family, and her grandchildren were her world.  Her fur baby and best friend was her dog, Forrest.

Kim is survived by her son, Kristopher Self, Jr. (girlfriend, Faith Barnett); her daughter, Samantha Self (William Pate); two grandchildren, Skylen Pate and Kingston "Moose" Pate; a brother, Joseph Duncan (Amy); two sisters, Betsy Vick (Jason) and Charlene Blackmon (Brad); many nieces and nephews; and a very special aunt, Brenda Hinson.

Kim was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly Duncan.

The family will have a private service later for Kim.
