LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Kimberly Sinclair Cauthen, age 53, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at her home. She was born September 18, 1965 in Lancaster, a daughter of Fred William Sinclair and the late Evelyn Starnes Sinclair and was the wife of David Scott Cauthen. Mrs. Cauthen worked for Founders Federal Credit Union for 32 years before she retired. Family was very important to Kim, she always made sure everyone was taken care of and often put others before herself. Kim was a member at Grace United Methodist Church but attended Camp Creek Baptist Church. She was very active in her church, where she worked with the youth group and taught Vacation Bible School. Kim loved going to the beach and adored her many animals, all of which were rescued.

Mrs. Cauthen is survived by her husband of 29 years, David S. Cauthen; two daughters, Crystal Cauthen Deese and her husband, Daniel, and Amber Sinclair Cauthen; her father, Fred Sinclair; a sister, Mindy Watts and her husband, Randy; special nieces and nephews, Shauna Gordon, Trevor Cauthen and Brooke Cauthen; a brother-in-law, Darrell Cauthen; and many cousins and extended family.

Mrs. Cauthen was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn S. Sinclair.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Cauthen will be 12:00 pm Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Camp Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Mellichamp and Rev. ShKur Francis. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, Saturday, September 22, 2018, in the church recreation hall and other times at her fathers home.
