FORT LAWN, SC:::::::::: Mr. Kim Avery Plyler, age 48, died Monday, April 25, 2016 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born October 28, 1967 in Pageland, SC, a son of the late Harry Eugene Plyler and Gertrude Pat Jordan Plyler and was the husband of Janet Pierce Plyler. Mr. Plyler was a self-employed contractor. He loved his family and friends and lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, boating and entertaining. He was loved by the children in the neighborhood and was affectionately known as Uncle Kim and was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Plyler is survived by his wife, Janet Pierce Jan Plyler; two daughters, Lisa Reynolds of Salisbury, NC and Karen Reynolds-Garcia of Granite Quarry, NC; four grandchildren, Brittani Hancock, Aydrian Reynolds, Clarissa Reynolds and Elijah Reynolds; two God-children, Hayden Blu Hughes and Raylee Hinson; three step-grandchildren; and two brothers, Dale Plyler of Pageland and Ralph Gainey of Ruby SC.
Mr. Plyler was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Elaine Gregory.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Plyler will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 30, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Mike Montgomery.
The Family will receive friends before the service, from 1:30 3:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to LifeShare of the Carolinas, 5000-D Airport Center Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28208.
