LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Kim Adams Humphries, age 63, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at her home.  She was the daughter of Betty Carol Robinson Adams and the late Kenneth Eugene Adams.  Kim was the wife of John Edward Humphries. She retired from Barnett Family Practice.  Kim enjoyed shopping, scrapbooking, crafts, trips to the beach, but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a very thoughtful, giving, and loving, wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother.  Kim was a member of Second Baptist Church.

Kim is survived by her husband of 33 years, John E. Humphries; a son, Christopher Michael Timmons; her mother, Betty Carol Adams; two grandchildren, Emma Brooks Timmons and Caden Christopher Timmons; a brother, Glenn Adams (Donna); a niece, Lauren Beckham (Josh); a nephew, Kendall Adams (Toni); two great nephews; one great niece; and a large extended family.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth E. Adams.

The Celebration of Life Service for Kim will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 1st, 2022, at Second Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Brian Saxon and Dr. David Carlton. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Second Baptist Church.
