LANCASTER, SC ~ Kenneth "Kenny" Nelson Burgess, age 65, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at his home.  He was born April 15, 1953 in Lancaster, SC, a son of the late Clarence Burgess and Lola Lowery Burgess and the husband of Pamela Jackson Burgess.  He was the Project Manager for Springs Industries for over 25 years.  Kenny was an avid Clemson Tiger fan.  He loved his wife, Pam, and his grandchildren, sitting in his swing by the pool listening to 90.3 Oldies music and going to the beach. Kenny loved his truck and his cat, Bella.  He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Kenny is survived by his wife of 26 years, Pamela Jackson Burgess; four daughters; eight grandchildren, Alex, Ashleigh, Madison, Brandon, Natalee, Jackson, Olivia and Henlee; two brothers, Richard Burgess and his wife, Libby, Larry Burgess and his wife, Phyllis; a sister, Nancy Hunter and her husband, Ronnie; a brother-in-law, Rick Jackson and his wife, Phyllis; a sister-in-law, Lisa Rodgers; and many nieces and nephews.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Kenny will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Immanuel Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Jimmy Hilton.  The family will receive friends following the service in the sanctuary.
