LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Kenneth "Ken" Robert Usher, age 86, passed away Thursday, May 27, 2021 at his home.  He was born November 13, 1934 in Lancaster, a son of the late Robert Ervin Usher and Louise Hough Usher and was the husband of Doris Funderburk Usher.   Mr. Usher proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #329 in Tradesville and a Shriner.  Mr. Usher loved to ride his golf cart.  He loved his family and his best friend (his dog), Pepper.  Mr. Usher was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mr. Usher is survived by his wife of 67 years, Doris Usher; a daughter, Lynn U. Phillips (Tim); two sons, Brian Usher (Myra), and David Usher (Jean); seven grandchildren, Laura Healey (Ryan), Matthew Usher (Julie), Holly Byrne (David), Kasey Hudson (Aaron), Lane Phillips (fiancée-Victoria Stephen), Meryl Phillips, and Connor Phillips (fiancée-Breana Gritzback); eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Herman Usher (Annabelle); and a sister, Kathy Catoe.

Mr. Usher was preceded in death by his parents.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Usher will be 11:00 am Monday, May 31, 2021 at Bethlehem Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Patrick Blackmon.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
