LANCASTER, SC - Mr. Keith Edward Armstrong, Jr., age 35, passed away Friday, May 26, 2017. He was born May 28, 1981 in Lancaster SC, a son of the Keith Edward Armstrong, Sr. and Wanda Gleaton Armstrong and was the husband of Brandy Salters Armstrong. Edward was employed with Snyders Lance Corporation in Charlotte. He loved spending time with his family, riding his motorcycle, fishing and setting off fireworks. Edward loved animals, especially his dog, Chino. He was proud to have served in the United States Army, active duty for over 11 years, and was currently serving in the United States Army National Guard at McIntire Air Force Base in Columbia.

Edward is survived by his wife, Brandy Armstrong; his parents, Keith and Wanda Armstrong; three sons, Blaze, Tyce, and Aiden Armstrong; his father and mother-in-law, Fred and Joyce Salters; a brother, Caleb Armstrong and his wife, Kameshia; a sister, Amber Armstrong of Austin, TX; sisters-in-law, Carie Salters and Chandra Weaver; a niece, MaKenzie Armstrong; many aunts, uncles and cousins from both sides of the family; and special friends, Jared Crane of Lancaster and Justin Velez of Savannah, GA.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Edward will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at First Pentecostal Church by Rev. Jimmy Lambert and Rev. Jerald Starnes.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest for those who wish, memorial contributions be made to the Go Fund Me account for SGT Edward Armstrong https://www.gofundme.com/spc-edward-armstrong to benefit his family.
