LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Kathy M. Wilson, age 70, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Monday, May 20, 2024. She was born March 3, 1954, daughter of the late Douglas M. Wilson and Peggy J. Roddey Wilson. Kathy enjoyed reading, putting together puzzles, and working crossword books. She loved her family dearly and her 2 previous dogs. Kathy was employed at Publix in Indian Land, SC where she cherished many friendships with her coworkers. She was a prayerful person who knew the power of prayer in her life and in the lives of others. Kathy was a member of Belair United Methodist Church.

Kathy is survived by three siblings, Phyllis Patton (Robert), Tim Wilson, and Randy Wilson (Lisa); nephews, Robb Patton (Mitzi), Matt Wilson (Ashley), and Jared Wilson; niece, Alyssa Wilson; great nephews, Brynn Patton and Hunter Wilson; great nieces, Kristin Hahn (Eric) and Chloe; and a great great niece, Charlotte Hahn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her fiancé, Dale Jordan; and her nephew, Steve Patton.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Kathy will be 10:00 am Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Belair United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Mallory Nickerson.

The family will receive friends following the graveside in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Belair United Methodist Church, 8095 Shelley Mullis Road, Indian Land, SC 29707.
