LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Katherine "Kathy" Elaine Ward Moulton, age 74, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024. She was born November 3, 1949, in Rock Hill, SC, daughter of the late William "Bill" Ward, Sr. and the late Pearlie May Archie Ward and was the loving wife of Warren Moulton. Mrs. Moulton was a sweet, loving, caring woman who would help anyone who was in need. She loved her animals and had a passion for all animals. Listening to music was a favorite of hers and she enjoyed talking about music to whoever would share that with her. Mrs. Moulton had a great sense of humor and loved to carry on conversations with others. Her family was most important to her, and she loved them unconditionally.

Mrs. Moulton is survived by her husband of 55 years, Warren Moulton; her son, Jeremy Moulton (Melissa); her daughter, April Moulton; four grandchildren, Jordan Ribelin (Mikaela), Koury Moulton (Sydney), Landon Gardner, and Taylor Havens; one great grandchild; a brother, William "Billy" Ward, Jr.; and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, John Walter Ward and Ricky Alan Ward.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Moulton will be 11:00 am Saturday, July 6, 2024, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Mitch Gulledge.
