HEATH SPRINGS, SC ~ Kathy Russhell Blackmon Langley, age 69, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021.  She was born February 15,1952, in Heath Springs, SC a daughter of late Foster C. Blackmon Sr. and Lessie Lee Poston Blackmon. Kathy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a foster parent for over 37 years and a member of Fork Hill Baptist Church.

Kathy is survived by her four daughters, Michelle Arioli (Butch), Carlene Henderson (Robert), Kathy Dease (Jamie), and Courtney Sullivan; a son, Preston Langley, and a foster daughter Terry Mason. Thirteen grandchildren, Ryan and Zachary Arioli, Naomi, Santanna, Austin and Michael Henderson, Lacy Wingard (Kevin), Savannah Moseley (Ryan), Megan and Liam Dease, Creighan, Laykin, and Chadley Grace Sullivan, and Grayson Jordan; five great grandchildren, Kaylee O'Neal, Braxton and Asher Henderson, Ryder, and Ariel Moseley; four siblings, Jerry Michael Blackmon (Kay), Vicki Blackmon, Terry Sims (Bobby), and James Eric Blackmon.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 48 years, Carl Edward Langley; three sisters, Edith Surratt, Shirley Williams, and Linda Ross; two brothers, Foster C. Blackmon Jr., and Berry Glenn Blackmon; son-in-law, Chad Eric Sullivan.

The Celebration of Life Service for Kathy will be 3:00pm Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Fork Hill Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dale Walters. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 6:00pm-8:00pm Monday evening, July 5,2021 at Burgess Funeral Home.
