LEXINGTON, SC ~ Mrs. Kathy Hegler Harrison, age 74, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Lexington Medical Center Extended Care. She was born July 21, 1949, in Lancaster County, a daughter of the late Roachel Hegler and Willie "Melita" Dunn Hegler and the wife of the late, Alvin Kenneth Harrison. In the past, Mrs. Harrison enjoyed traveling, watching the ID channel, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was of the Baptist Faith.

Mrs. Harrison is survived by three sons, Harold Sowell of Pageland, SC, Chris Harrison of Gaston, SC, and Clinton Harrison of Indiana; two daughters, Paula Taylor of Lexington, and Kathy Lenore Harrison of Lexington; a brother, Ernest Hegler; two sisters, Shirley Mackey, and Vicki Vincent; fourteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.

Mrs. Harrison was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Kenneth Harrison; her parents; a sister, Janis H. Sistare; and two brothers, Charles Hegler, and Bruce Hegler.

The Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Harrison will be 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm-3:00 pm, one hour prior to the service, at Burgess Funeral Home.
