INDIAN LAND, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Kathleen Degnan Jordan, age 65, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. She was born July 10, 1950 in New York, NY, a daughter of the late James Degnan and Mary Ann Dacey Degnan and was the wife of the late Gerard Peter Jordan. Mrs. Jordan retired from the US Postal Service. She was her childrens biggest cheerleader and was the designated driver for all their activities. Mrs. Jordan was a member of the Sun City Billiards Club, Sun City Pickleball Club, the Sun City Tri State Club and the Retired Federal Employees Club. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Mrs. Jordan is survived by a son, Michael Jordan and his wife, Melissa of New York; three daughters, Kelly Van Daley and her husband, Jeffrey, Kathleen Jordan both of Indian Land, and Elizabeth Jordan and her fianc, Michael Correll of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Nathan, Audrey and Sawyer Jordan; a brother, Jimmy Degnan and his wife, Pat of Massapequa, NY and a sister, Lorraine Abrams and her husband, Al of Ocklawaha, FL.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Jordan will be 1:00 pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church by Father Joe Pearce.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 Wednesday evening, June 29, 2016 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster and suggest in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Joe Martin ALS Foundation, 100 N. Tryon Street, Suite 3420, Charlotte, NC 28202.
