LANCASTER, SC ::::::::::: Mrs. Kathleen Robinson Griffin, age 82, died Friday, July 9, 2010 at Agape Assisted Living in Rock Hill where she was a resident. She was born August 24, 1927 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late John Robinson and Eva Hinson Robinson and was the wife of the late Charles Griffin. Mrs. Griffin retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Griffin is survived by a sister, Shirley Morgan and her husband Spanky of Lancaster, 2 brothers, Johnnie Robinson and his wife Betty of Rock Hill and Hazel Robinson and his wife Anita of Lancaster, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.Mrs. Griffin was preceded in death by 2 brothers, David J. Hinson and William Lee Robinson and a sister Willie Robinson.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Griffin will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Bateman with burial to follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.The Family of Mrs. Griffin will receive friends from 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Sunday at the Fellowship Hall and the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Calvary Baptist Church, PO Box 1116, Lancaster, SC 29721. The Family of Mrs. Griffin will be at the home of Randy and Debbie Traywick, 1819 Third Tee Road, Lancaster SC 29720.
