KERSHAW, SC . Mrs. Kathleen "Tam" Goolsby Clyburn, age 90, of 316 Stevens Drive, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Kershaw Health in Camden. She was born April 13, 1920 in Denmark, SC the daughter of the late Ralph Goolsby and Margaret Stokes Goolsby and was the wife of the late E.H. "Weenie" Clyburn. Mrs. Clyburn was a school teacher at Kershaw Elementary and various other schools for 31 years, a member of First United Methodist Church and the UMW.Mrs. Clyburn is survived by a son, John Haile Clyburn and his wife Kathy of Kershaw, a daughter, Resa Watson and her husband Ed of LaGrange, GA, 3 grandchildren, Chad Watson, Natalie Berger and Chris Clyburn and 2 great grandchildren, Devan and Jensen Berger.Mrs. Clyburn was preceded in death by 2 brothers, G. Stokes Goolsby and Ralph Goolsby, a sister, Albertine Martorana, and 2 grandchildren, Kenny Clyburn and Patrick Watson. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Clyburn will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at First United Methodist by Dr. Anita Bozardt and Rev. Robin Hewitt with burial to follow at Kershaw City Cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Clyburn will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 am, Wednesday, June 16, 2010 in the Fellowship Hall and suggest memorial contributions to First United Methodist Church, 305 W. Church Street, Kershaw, SC 29067.
