INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mrs. Karen (Stouppe) Jedson was born September 21, 1953 in Hamtramck, MI to Robert L. and Leah (Thomas) Stouppe. She died January 21, 2024, from Parkinson's disease under Hospice.

After earning her Master's Degree in Library Science at Western Michigan State University, she worked for the Hartford Public Library in Hartford, CT, and the American School for the Deaf in West Hartford. In 1993, she married Michael Jedson. After retiring in 2010, they moved to Sun City Carolina Lakes in Indian Land, SC.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Jedson; her brother, Jeffrey (Rebecca) Stouppe; and two nieces, Lena Penna and ReBea Stouppe.

There will be no services for Mrs. Jedson at this time.
