In Loving Memory of Kara Lynn "KK" Lingle

Kara Lynn Lingle, affectionately known as "KK", left this world on June 4, 2024, in Camden, SC, at the age of 54, after a long battle with cancer. Born on November 17, 1969, in Lancaster, SC, to the late Gary and Linda Lingle. Kara's vibrant spirit touched everyone she met.

Kara was a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina and an eternal fan of the Gamecocks. She celebrated their victories and faced their defeats with unwavering loyalty. Her passion for life was mirrored in her love for Elton John, whose music was the soundtrack to many joyful moments.

Surviving Kara are her beloved children, Conor, Rory, and Cameron Cradock, who were her greatest treasures. She is also survived by her sister, Tami Lingle Crenshaw (Hal); her brother, Ronnie Lingle (Shirley); nieces, Brittany McCutcheon (James), Jessica Lawson (Forrest), and Caitlin Bishop; and nephew, Garrett Crenshaw (Audrey).

In honoring Kara's wishes, there will be a private visitation and a celebration of life with her family. She will be cremated and placed in a living urn tree memorial, symbolizing her everlasting presence and the new life that will grow in her memory.

Kara was a free spirit who embraced life with laughter and love. She cherished every moment spent with friends and family, creating memories that will forever bring smiles to those who knew her.

To everyone who held a special place in Kara's heart and shared in her journey, thank you. Your love and support meant the world to her and continued to comfort her family. We find peace in knowing that Kara is now pain free, at rest, and joyfully reunited with her loved ones in heaven.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Autism Speaks, the Cancer Society, or Wounded Warriors in Kara's memory.

We invite you to honor Kara by sharing a laugh, dancing to an Elton John song, or cheering for the Gamecocks-just as she would have loved.

Kara's spirit will forever live in our hearts and will hold a special place forever.

Music has healing power. It has the ability to take people out of themselves for a few hours. Elton John

"Sweet freedom whispered in my ear, you're a butterfly, and butterflies are free to fly, fly away, high-away, bye-bye." Elton John

"To forgive and be forgiven, if it's the last thing I do, then in death's release I may find the peace that in life I never knew." Elton John
