LANCASTER, SC::::::::::: Mrs. June Wade Taylor, age 51, of 3121 University Drive, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. She was born October 25, 1956 in Rock Hill, the daughter of Maye Dean Wade and the late Raymond F. Wade and was the wife of Kenneth L. Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was a retired teacher with the Lancaster County School System - North Elementary. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina, received her Masters degree from Winthrop University, and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. Mrs. Taylor was survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Taylor of the home, a son, Zach Taylor of the home, and her mother Maye Dean Wade also of the home. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Taylor will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Zion United Methodist Church by Rev. Fred Davis with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Taylor will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Wednesday evening, July 2, 2008 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggested memorial contributions to Zion United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1665 Zion Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
