LANCASTER, SC~ Mrs. Julie Bassford Starnes, age 65, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at MUSC Health- Lancaster Medical Center.  She was born September 3, 1953 in Monroe, NC, a daughter of the late Robert Bassford and Margie Cagle.  Mrs. Starnes loved scented candles, watching TV, Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Captain D's.

Mrs. Starnes is survived by three children, Kathy Welbourne, William Wallace, and Mike Miller; eight grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Mrs. Starnes is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Starnes; and her parents.

The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
