LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Judy Threatt Munn, age 72, passed away December 3, 2025. She was born January 7, 1953, in Lancaster, SC, a daughter of the late James Walter Threatt and the late Evelyn Carnes Threatt. Judy cherished every moment spent with her family, especially on their vacations together. She found joy in simple pleasures, including her frequent trips to the nail salon for manicures and pedicures. Above all, Judy loved being surrounded by her family, most of all her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. The holiday season held a special place in her heart, and she took great delight in the sparkle of her Christmas tree and lights. Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and love touched everyone who knew her.

Judy is survived by her two daughters, Leslie Brakefield (Billy) of Chester, SC and Christy Knight (Scott) of Lancaster, SC; her grandchildren, Kayla Knight (Garrett Gooch), Will Brakefield (Danielle),and Tyler Knight (Caydence); her great-grandson, Ryder Gooch, and her soon to arrive great-grandson, Colton Knight; her sister, Sarah Robinson; her sister-in-law, Frances Threatt; her niece, Kelly Jennings (Wes); and her nephews, Brian Threatt (Jessica), Tim Robinson (Shelly), Jeff Robinson (Diane), and Michael Cauthen (Lani).

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Evelyn Threatt; her brother, Donny Threatt; and her brother-in-law, Jerry Robinson.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at Springdell Baptist Church, officiated by Rev. Donald Tillman. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
