LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. Judith Lynn Parsons Smith, age 70, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025.  She was born October 27, 1954, in Harold, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Saint Jo Parsons and the late Betty Jo Truman Parsons. Ms. Smith will always be remembered for her loving heart. She enjoyed playing bingo, listening to her "oldies but goodies" music, and watching movies, but most of all, spending time with her family. Ms. Smith was a member of Elgin Baptist Church.

Ms. Smith is survived by her daughter, Allison Lynn Fiecke (Kristopher); her son, Austin Lee Hammel (Tiffany); three grandchildren, Kira and Max Fiecke, and Santino Farias; her two siblings, Patrick Parsons (Kim), and Missy Whetstone (Wayne); her nieces and nephews, Adam Whetstone (Katie), Heather Whetstone Staton (Tyler), Joey Parsons, Richard Knausz (Christie), Laura Lowery (Wayne), Christie Lynn Harcourt, Cole Tisdale, and DeAnna Thomas (Derrell); many special great nieces and nephews; and many special family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Saint and Betty Jo Parsons; and her sister, Lanita Parsons Hinson.

The Celebration of Life Service for Ms. Smith will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 29, 2025, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Pastor Adam Whetstone. The family will greet friends following the service and at all other times at the home of Missy and Wayne Whetstone.
