LANCASTER, SC ~ Juan Pablo Valencia Gonzalez, age 19, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021.  He was the son of Juan Pablo Valencia Morales and Yesenia Gonzalez Perez. Juan Pablo was a graduate of Lancaster High School. He was very independent, he loved to play with his brother and his sister whom he was very protective over. Juan Pablo enjoyed eating all types of foods, especially ice cream. He loved to help around the house no matter the chore he was working on. Juan Pablo enjoyed all technology, especially his cellphone, Xbox, and TV so he could watch soccer. Not only did Juan Pablo enjoy watching soccer he loved to play soccer. He really enjoyed playing with his friends and family. Juan Pablo loved to shop for tennis shoes, and clothes. His family remembers Juan Pablo as a child being a very honest and giving person who was timid with a unique personality. Juan Pablo was a member at St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Juan Pablo is survived by his parents, Juan Pablo Valencia Morales, Yesenia Gonzalez Perez; a sister, Nohemi Lorenza Valencia Gonzalez; a brother, Pablo Edwardo Valencia Gonzalez; paternal grandfather, Jose Guadalupe Valencia Montoya; paternal grandmother, Cominosa Morales Hernandez; maternal grandmother, Hercilia Perez Peralta; thirteen aunts, Maria Elena Valencia Morales, Guadalupe Valencia Morales, Miriam Rojas, Dolores Cruz Tejeda, Sonia Gonzalez Perez, Virginia Gonzalez Perez, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Fabiola Aguirre, Alicia Almoraz, Rosio Perez Almoraz, Maria Cruz, Marisela Gonzalez, Roselia Gonzalez; thirteen uncles, Benito Rosales, Hugo Ramos Morales, Israel Ramos Morales, Gonzalo Roja Morales, Miguel Rojas, Norma Rojas Morales, Ernesto Bravo, Samuel Araujo, Luis Enrique Cruz Sandoval, Eduardo Gonzalez Perez, Cesar Gonzalez Perez, Tereso Perez Peralta, Alberto Villa Nueva, ten cousins; Naomy, Rosales Valencia, Erick Valencia Morales, Mitzy Valencia Morales, Elaine Valencia Morales, Forever Valencia Morales, Erick Jr. Valencia Morales, Emmanuel Rojas Rojas, Mirza Rojas Rojas, Gonzalo Rojas Rojas, Heide Rojas Rojas; Felipa Robles Gonzalez, and Jose Omar Mora Mora.

Juan Pablo was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Filberto Gonzalez Cristobal; four aunts, Carmen Rojas Morales, Cristina Perez Almoraz, Araceli Moreno, and Maria Eguenia Peralta; Three uncles, Lucio Perez, Alsemo Gonzalez, and Jaime Gonzalez; special cousin, Ernesto Bravo Cruz.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Juan Pablo will be 11:00 am Monday, April 26, 2021 at St. Catherine Catholic Church officiated by Father Javier Heredia. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.
