LANCASTER, SC – Joyce Catoe Rollings, age 84, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Born on July 10, 1941, in Lancaster, South Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late Amos Vander Catoe and Mamie Thigpen Catoe.

Joyce was a devoted member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, where her faith was an important part of her life. She found great joy in the simple, meaningful things, spending hours sewing and crocheting, creating pieces made with love, and sharing her talent for baking and beautifully decorating cakes with family and friends.

Joyce’s gentle spirit, kind heart, and the love she gave so freely will be treasured always by those who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, creativity, and devotion, and she will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

Joyce is survived by her son, Duane Rollings (Angie); three grandchildren, Zachary Rollings (Elizabeth), Brittany Holt, and Samantha Brewer (Neal); and five great-grandchildren.

She has reunited with those who have passed before her, including her son, Mark Rollings; her parents, Amos and Mamie Catoe; and her brother, Henry Odell Catoe.
