LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Joyce Wright Roberts, age 65, died Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. She was born October 20, 1948 in Great Falls, SC, the daughter of the late P.A. Wright and Lucille Lucas Wright and was the wife of Roy E. Roberts. Mrs. Roberts was of the Baptist faith and loved her many friends and family.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by her husband, Roy E. Roberts of the home, two sons, Thomas Lawrence Caskey, Jr. and his wife Valarie and Richard Eugene Caskey and his fiancé Sandy, a daughter, Susie Caskey Small and her husband Phil all of Lancaster, two brothers, Wesley Wright and his wife Sharon and David Wright and his wife Mary of Great Falls, a sister, Peggy Lowery of Garden City, SC, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by a son, Danny Ray Caskey.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mrs. Roberts will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Gerald Eaves. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mrs. Roberts will receive friends following the graveside service and suggest memorials contributions to Eastside Baptist Church, 1180 Garnette Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
