LEXINGTON, SC – Joshua Orin Hinson, 51, of Lexington, South Carolina, passed away April 10, 2024. He was born January 22, 1973, the son of Mary Ellen Catoe Hinson and the late Tommy Lee Hinson.

Joshua graduated Valedictorian of the 1991 class at Buford High School. He attended The University of South Carolina, college of engineering, Columbia, South Carolina. He was employed with UPS for 25 years.

Joshua is survived by his mother and two brothers, John Kevin Hinson and Tommy Lee Hinson, Jr. (Teresa), and extended family members and friends. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by an infant sister, Mary Lee.

A gravesite service will be held at Lancaster Memorial Park, Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Randy Hatcher presiding.

The family will receive friends at the gravesite and other times at the home of Mary Ellen Hinson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered in memory of Joshua to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA  22116-7023 or a charity of the donor's choice.

The family has entrusted Burgess Funeral Home and Crematory with the care of their loved one.
