FORT LAWN, SC :::::::::: Mr. Joseph Thomas "Tom" Moore, Jr. age 61, died Tuesday morning, August 11, 2009 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born March 13, 1948 in Charlotte, NC, the son of the late Joseph Thomas Moore, Sr. and Frances Blythe Moore and was the husband of Ann Chaney Moore. Mr. Moore was a retired self employed mechanic and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Moore is survived by his wife, Ann Chaney Moore of the home, a son, Joe Moore III of Fort Lawn, a daughter, Jennifer Hartley and her husband Bo also of Fort Lawn, a sister, Joyce Nash and her husband PJ of Monroe, NC, and 6 grandchildren, Jessica Powers, Maloree Powers, Hailey Moore, Carleigh Moore, Garrett Hartley, and Karah Hartley.The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Moore will be 2:00 pm, Thursday afternoon, August 13, 2009 at Fort Lawn Baptist Church with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The Family of Mr. Moore will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday evening, August 12, 2009 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Fort Lawn Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 250, Fort Lawn, SC 29714.
