KERSHAW, SC:::::::::: Mr. Joseph Carson "Joe" Faulkenberry, age 77, of 8900 Taxahaw Road, died Sunday November 28, 2010 at his home. He was born March 26, 1933 in Lancaster County, the son of the late Minor Faulkenberry and Lena Faile Faulkenberry and was the husband of the late Celestie Faile Faulkenberry. Mr. Faulkenberry retired from Springs Industries and was a member of Charlesboro Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Faulkenberry is survived by his son Milton Faulkenberry and his wife Darlene of Kershaw, a daughter, Donna Hurst and her husband Jon of Pageland, daughter-in-law, Joy Faulkenberry of Heath Springs, a brother, Frank Faulkenberry and wife Margaret, 3 sisters, Selena Flynn and husband Bob, Margie Neal and husband Wilson and Dessie Reeves, sister-in-law, Patricia Faulkenberry, 3 grandchildren, Robin Faulkenberry, Will Faulkenberry and wife Jennifer, and Rebekah Minihane and husband Travis, and great granddaughter, Laila Minihane. Mr. Faulkenberry was preceded in death by 2 sons, Randy and Ray Faulkenberry and 2 brothers, Earl and William Faulkenberry. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Faulkenberry will be 11:00 am Wednesday, December 1, 2010 at Charlesboro Baptist Church by Rev. Larry Plyler and Rev. Buddy Thomas with burial to follow at Blackmon Cemetery.
