INDIAN LAND, SC – Mr. Joseph James "JJ" Haldeman, age 78, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024. He was born May 12, 1946, son of the late Martin Haldeman and Edith Miller Haldeman and was the loving husband of Nancy Derickson Haldeman. JJ was a passionate reader and a dedicated photography enthusiast, spending countless hours perfecting his craft in his own darkroom. His love for collecting baseball cards brought him joy and nostalgia. Upon moving to Sun City, JJ's luck and love for cars led him to discover a stunning Corvette convertible, which he named Ruby Red. JJ proudly served his country in the United States Army for 20 years and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

JJ is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy Haldeman; his son, Jon Haldeman (Andrea); his daughter, Karen Haldeman; and three grandchildren, Kailey, Derek, and Jillian "Andy".

He was preceded in death by his parents.
