LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mr. Joseph Bartley "Bart" Clark, age 61, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at his home. He was born November 2, 1953 in Newport News, VA, the son of the late John Frank Clark and Katherine Willis Clark and the husband of Michelle Starnes Clark. Mr. Clark was a Graphic Designer and Materials Manager. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend. Mr. Clark loved art and was a very talented artist. He loved painting and drawing, was an avid reader and had a heart of gold.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Michelle Starnes Clark; three sons, Nathan Clark of Yadkinville, NC, Andrew Clark of New York, NY and Daniel "Dan" Clark; one daughter, Emily Clark of Chapel Hill, NC; a step-son, Brandon Belk of Lancaster; three brothers, Hamp Quesinberry and his wife Vivian of Reidsville, NC, C.D. Quesinberry and his wife Pat of High Point, NC and David Clark and his wife Lori of Randleman, NC; two sisters, Vida Sharpe of Greensboro, NC and Lynn Taylor of Reidsville, NC.
The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Clark will be 2:00 pm Monday, July 27, 2015 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Jesse Adams and Rev. Jack Nunn.
The Family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to service at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Lancaster, 901 W. Meeting Street, Suite 201, Lancaster, SC 29720.
