LANCASTER, SC ~ Jon Earl Peigler, age 46, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at MUSC- Charleston, SC.  He was born November 17, 1972 in Charlotte, the son of Frances Ann Nance Peigler and the late Earl Franklin Peigler and was the husband of Crystal Livesay Peigler.  Jon was Superintendent at Bio-Nomic Services Inc. in Belmont, NC.  He was a volunteer fireman and medic chief for Steele Creek Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years.  He loved spending time with his family, camping, football, especially the Carolina Panthers, going to the lake, Charleston, and his yearly golf trip with his brother and friends. Jon also enjoyed classic cars and trucks, riding his motorcycle, going to sports stores, being outside, hunting and riding four wheelers. He never met a stranger.  Jon was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church.

Jon is survived by his wife, Crystal Livesay Peigler;  his mother, Frances Peigler; three sons, Justin Livesay, Austin Wemes (Anna Steele), and Richard Hammond, all of Lancaster; a brother, Ron Peigler (Jeana), of Charlotte, NC; a niece, Kelsey Peigler; a nephew, Jackson Peigler; his mother-in-law, Nancy Livesay; and his dog, Bella.

Jon was preceded in death by his father, Earl Franklin Peigler.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Jon will be 3:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Randy Mellichamp.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm, Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Hwy., Lancaster, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Steele Creek Volunteer Fire Department, 13000 S. Tryon Street, Suite #F318, Charlotte, NC, 28278.
