LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Johnny Mac Starnes, age 48, of Lancaster, died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at his home. He was born July 9, 1963 in Charlotte, NC, the son of the late James Irby Starnes Sr., and Betty Hatchel Starnes and was the husband of 30 years to Toni Craig Starnes. Mr. Starnes worked at Circle S Ranch as a Farm manager and former owner/operator of Rock Rest Auto and Salvage in Wingate NC. Mr. Starnes also ran JMS Lawn Care and Home Repair in Lancaster SC. Mr. Starnes is survived by his wife Toni Craig Starnes, 2 sons, Jason Starnes and his wife Heather and Justin Starnes and his wife Amanda both of Lancaster, a brother, James Irby Starnes Jr., 5 sisters, Jane Starnes Caldwell and her husband Bob, Ruth Starnes Whitley and her husband Gary, Mary Starnes Maye and her husband Roger, Rachel Starnes Hobbs and her husband Dewey, and Lois Marie Starnes, and numerous nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Starnes will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Camp Creek United Methodist Church by Rev. Mike Catoe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mr. Starnes will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Friday, April 20, 2012 at the funeral home and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Camp Creek United Methodist Church, 4721 Great Falls Hwy, Lancaster, SC 29720.
