RIDGEWAY, SC::::::::: Mr. John Earl Johnny Morgan, age 82, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Providence Hospital in Columbia. He was born June 25, 1934 in Lancaster County, a son of the late Earlie Morgan and Rosa Threatt Morgan and was the husband of Sandra Farrar Morgan. Mr. Morgan was a self-employed painting contractor retiring from Morgan Paint Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoying hunting and fishing. He served our country in the United States Navy and was a member of Lake Wateree Baptist Church.

Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra Marie Farrar Morgan; a daughter, Susie McDonald and her husband Steve; a son, Johnny David Morgan; a granddaughter, Madison Morgan; a brother, Tommy Morgan all of Lancaster; and an adopted son, Zane Rollings of Heath Springs.

Mr. Morgan was preceded in death by a sister, Sybil Morgan Bryant and three brothers, Robert Crawford Morgan, James Archie Fat Morgan and Billy Gene Crip Morgan.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Morgan will be 11:00 am Thursday, August 4, 2016 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Mike Pelham. Burial will follow at Lake Wateree Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 11:00 am, Thursday at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Lake Wateree Baptist Church, 5856 River Road, Ridgeway, SC 29130.
