INDIAN LAND, SC ~ Mr. John George Goldfuss, age 89, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at his home.  He was born September 19, 1929 in New York, NY, a son of the late John George Goldfuss, Sr. and Mary Randles Goldfuss and was the husband of the late Shirley Calder Goldfuss.  Mr. Goldfuss loved his country, having served in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran.  He retired after 30 years as a Supervisor from United Airlines where he was a dedicated and loyal employee.  Mr. Goldfuss was a simple man, a great husband, a loving father and grandfather, very charitable, kind, ethical and made a strong first impression to those he met.

Mr. Goldfuss is survived by his children, Doreen McQuaid and her husband, Patrick of Long Island, NY, Scott Goldfuss and his wife, Desiree of Milton, GA, and Kim Psinakis and her husband, Michael of Indian Land, SC; nine grandchildren, Kristie, Cory, Allison, Daniel, Jaclyn, Lauren, Evan, Ryan, and Makenna; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Thomas Goldfuss of Florida; and a sister, Eleanor Ebel of Long Island, NY.

Mr. Goldfuss is preceded in death his wife of 57 years, Shirley Goldfuss; his parents; and three sisters, Joan, Rita and Mary.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
