LANCASTER, SC ~ John Richard Evans, Jr., age 74, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at his home. He was born October 19, 1945 in Charlotte, NC, the son of the late John Richard Evans, Sr. and Betty Carnes Evans and was the husband of Terri Rikard Evans.  John retired from First Citizens Bank.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and carving duck decoys.  He was a member of First United Methodist Church.

John is survived by his wife, Terri Evans; two daughters, Suzette Nazim and her husband, David and Mary Alice Ballantyne, both of Greer, SC; a sister, Mary Beth King and her husband, Tom of Mountain Rest, SC; and seven grandchildren.

Services for John will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Lancaster, PO Box 670, Lancaster, SC  29721.
