HEATH SPRINGS, SC:::::::::::Mrs. Joanne Faile Hinson, age 80, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born June 21, 1933 in Lancaster County, the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Faile and Azilee Sullivan Faile and was the wife of the late Malcolm R. Hinson. Mrs. Hinson was a homemaker and a member of Heath Springs Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hinson is survived by her children, Cheryl H. Bass of Lancaster, Malcolm R. "Rick" Hinson, Jr. and his wife Carolyn of Heath Springs, Pam H. Wood and her husband George of Lincolnton, NC, and David A. Hinson and his wife Lisa of Kershaw, 5 sisters, Hortense F. Patton, Helen F. Horne, Evelyn F. Crenshaw, Becky F. Neal (Clyde) and Carol F. Lambert (Buddy), 8 grandchildren, Ron (Michelle) Mothershed, Jill (Todd) M. Vincent, Cam (Veronica) Hinson, Ben (Alicia) Hinson, Jonathan Hinson, Andrew Wood, Shana Hinson and Sydney Hinson, 2 step grandchildren, Tommy Killen and Angie (Timmy) Kirk and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hinson was preceded in death by 3 brothers, H. Randolph Faile, Benjamin F. "Frank" Faile, Jr. and Edward C. Faile.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Hinson will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at The Chapel of Hartley Burgess Funeral Home by Rev. Patrick Clark and Rev. Paul Smith. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery.

The Family of Mrs. Hinson will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 pm Monday, June 24, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and the family suggests memorials to be made to Heath Springs Baptist Church, PO Box 400 Heath Springs, SC 29058.
