LANCASTER, SC ~ Mrs. Joanne Cauthen Estridge, age 83, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Lancaster Convalescent Center. She was born September 3, 1934 in Lancaster, SC, the daughter of the late Louie Boyce Cauthen and Hazel Lee Ghent Cauthen and was the wife of Joe F. Estridge. Mrs. Estridge was a very loving and devoted wife. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, dining and socializing with family and friends. She was employed by Springs Memorial Hospital as an Admitting Clerk. Mrs. Estridge was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church and was affiliated with Grace United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Estridge is survived by her husband of 61 years, Joe F. Estridge; one nephew, Russ Carter and his wife, Amy of Chesterfield, SC; four nieces, Lin Lake and her husband, Frank of Little Mountain, SC, Kathy Carter of Myrtle Beach, Susan ONeal and her husband, Tony of Lancaster and Lisa Lucas of Lancaster; numerous great nephews and nieces; and two very close friends, Hattie Duncan and family and Judy Dingler and family.

Mrs. Estridge was preceded in death by her parents.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Estridge will be 11:00 am Friday,
September 29, 2017 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church by Rev. Larry King. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 11:00 am, one hour prior to service, and suggest memorial contributions be made to Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 5908 Tabernacle Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720 or Grace United Methodist Church, PO Box 418, Lancaster, SC 29721
