LANCASTER, SC ~ Ms. JoAnn "Jo" Couch Knight, age 75, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022. She was born July 16, 1946, in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Raymond Couch and Frankie McManus Couch. Ms. JoAnn enjoyed riding, shagging, coloring, and cleaning. She loved gospel music and worshiping the Lord.

Ms. JoAnn is survived by her partner of 33 years, Tim E. Cauthen; her two daughters, Roxann Knight McKittrick, and Tammy Collins; her son, Dean Knight (fiancé, Angela Jordan); her three grandchildren, Dalton McKittrick, Brady Knight, and Meghan Collins; two great grandsons; her two brothers, Donnie Couch, and Jerry Couch (Shelby); her sister, Betty Gruner (Ken) of San Antonio, Texas; and a large extended family.

Ms. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Frankie Couch; her grandson, Mason McKittrick; and her sister, Linda Hinson.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Ms. JoAnn will be 3:00 pm on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Trent McLaughlin. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm – 3:00pm one hour prior to the service at Burgess Funeral Home.
