LANCASTER, SC:::::::Mrs. Joan Mosteller Burnham, age 67, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born March 3, 1949 in Pageland, SC, a daughter of the late Bill Mosteller and Zulee Griffin Mosteller and was the wife of Robert L. Burnham. Mrs. Burnham retired from the Lancaster County School District and was a member of Hyde Park Baptist Church.

Mrs. Burnham is survived by her husband, Robert L. Bobby Burnham; two brothers, Billy Mosteller and his wife, Kathy of Lancaster and Larry Griffin and his wife, Betty of Indian Land; and a sister, Jan Parker and her husband, Reggie of Inman, SC.

Mrs. Burnham was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert L. Robbie Burnham, Jr.; and a grandson, Derrick Austin Peach.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Burnham will be 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Hyde Park Baptist Church by Rev. Charlie Simpson and Dr. Reggie Parker. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 pm Tuesday evening, January 17, 2017 at Burgess Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Hyde Park Baptist Church, 1898 Flat Creek Road, Lancaster, SC 29720.
