LANCASTER, SC ~ Ida Jo Funderburk Riner, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation. She was born August 22, 1932, in Chesterfield County, daughter of the late Haron Broadus Funderburk and the late Irene F. Funderburk and was the wife of the late, Paul Nesbit Riner. Mrs. Riner retired from Crenshaw Oil Company as the bookkeeper for many years. She was a member of New Cut Presbyterian Church of Lancaster and was a Lay Minister.

Mrs. Riner is survived by her caregivers, Dean and Wendy Riner; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sisters, Gladys Baskins, Jane Riner, and Sybil Schwartz; two brothers, C.L. Funderburk, and Broadus "Dub" Funderburk.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mrs. Riner will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 17, 2024, at New Cut Presbyterian Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Barry Liffiton.

The family would like to give special thanks to Agape Hospice and Lancaster Health and Rehabilitation for the exceptional care that was given to Mrs. Riner.
