Obituary

LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Jimmy Ross Killough, age 65, died Saturday, April 26, 2014 at his home. He was born January 6, 1949 in Matthews, NC, the son of the late Hurley Hamilton Killough and Kathleen Phillips Killough and was the husband of Linda Hudson Killough. He retired from the Lancaster County Detention Center, enjoyed golf, softball, football, and coached Rec football for many years. He loved his grandchildren and was an avid NC Tarheel fan. Jimmy served our great country in the United States Army and was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Mr. Killough is survived by his wife Linda Hudson Killough,; two sons, Derek Killough and his wife Crystal of Pageland and Ryan Killough and his fiancé, Kelly Ellis of Lancaster; a daughter, Amber Forrester and her husband Ray of Heath Springs; three brothers, Joe Killough and his wife Janet of Charlotte; Larry Killough and his wife Mary of Monroe; and Ed Killough and his wife Penny of Concord; five sisters, Geneva Gresham of Illinois, Peggy Poole, Judy Dickerson, and Carrie Dennis all of Pageland and Mary Nelson of Lancaster; and four grandchildren, Hannah Killough, Hudson Forrester, Madison Ellis and Bryce Killough.

Mr. Killough was preceded in death by a sister, Lynda Prisley.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Killough will be 11:00 am, Tuesday morning, April 29, 2014 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Rev. Jason Myers and Rev. Bobby Catoe. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The Family of Mr. Killough will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, Monday evening, April 28, 2014 at Burgess Funeral Home, 1800 Charlotte Highway, Lancaster. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Agape Hospice, 1317 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
