LANCASTER, SC – Mr. Jimmy Eulece Hinson, age 80, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2024 at his home. He was born September 11, 1943, in Lancaster, son of the late James Eulece Hinson and the late Frances Steele Hinson and was the loving husband of Gail Hinson. Mr. Hinson loved fishing and being outdoors. He was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.

Mr. Hinson is survived by his wife of 60 years; Gail Hinson; his four daughters, Laura Cox (Mitchell), Amy Berbrich (Jim), Julie Cox (Shawn), and Sherry Hinson; four grandchildren, Ashley Taylor, Rachel Payne, Matthew Cox, and Chrystian Cox; seven great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Libby Hopkins; and his parents, James and Frances Hinson.

The Celebration of Life Visitation for Mr. Hinson will be from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Burgess Funeral Home. The family will hold a private burial at a later date at Lancaster Memorial Park.
