LANCASTER, SC ~ Jimmy Eubanks, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at his home.  Jimmy was born July 24, 1939 in Lancaster, SC.  He was the son of the late Augustus Gary "AG" Eubanks and Odessa Rape Eubanks.  Jimmy retired from Ameristeel after 25 years as the Quality Control Supervisor and was most recently employed with the Lancaster County Recycling Center.  He was a very humble and kind man.  Jimmy loved his family, his church, fishing, and helping others.  He was an avid Clemson fan and a member of White Springs Baptist Church.

Jimmy is survived by his two sons, Gary Wayne Eubanks (Peggy) and Jimmy Junior Eubanks; a daughter, Bobbie Clark (Kenneth); a sister, Elaine Griffin (Warren) of Marshville, NC; two grandchildren, Brad Jenkins, and Brittany Thomas; four great grandchildren, Blake Jenkins, Briana Jenkins, Matthew Jenkins and Mason Russ; two nieces that were like sisters, Joan Harrell, and Kay Tarlton; and the mother of his children, Sue Eubanks.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Kevin Dale Jenkins; and three  sisters, Edna Funderburk, Frances Williams, and Betty Jo Chandler.

The Celebration of Life Service for Jimmy will be 3:00 pm Friday, February 12, 2021 at The Chapel of Burgess Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Brad Threatt.  Burial will follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Burgess Funeral Home. Social distancing will be practiced, and mask are required.
