LANCASTER, SC ~ Mr. Jerry Douglas Williams, age 69, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023. He was born August 25,1953, in Lancaster, a son of the late Lester "Buck" Williams, Jr. and Myrtle Huffstickler Williams and was the husband of Marilyn Ballard Williams. Jerry enjoyed bowling, golfing, playing horseshoes, cooking, and riding his grandchildren on the golf cart. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and his furry companion, Dixie. Jerry was a recipient of a LVAD that blessed him with 8 additional years with his family. He was of the baptist faith and attended High Point Freewill Baptist Church.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Williams; his children, Jimmy Williams (Wendy), Carrie Helms (Gary), and David Williams (Corey Smith); three grandchildren, Savannah Barbuscia (Anthony), Jessica Williams (Jack Barbuscia), and Amelia Helms; one great grandchild, Josie Barbuscia; a brother, Danny Williams, two sisters, Janet Knight (Bunk) and Robin Williams; a sister-in-law, Joyce Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert Williams.

The Celebration of Life Service for Jerry will be private.
