FORT MILL, SC – Mr. Jerome "Jerry" Lee Strittholt, age 70, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022. He was born June 17, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH, a son of LaVerne Berger Strittholt and the late Charles Lee Strittholt and was the husband of Joanne Prill Strittholt. Jerry graduated from St. Xavier High School in Cincinnati, OH. He attended Marshall University in Huntington, WV on a full basketball scholarship, graduating with a B. A. degree in marketing. As a child growing up, he played the accordion and spent his summers swimming and diving. After retirement, Jerry enjoyed playing golf and riding the golf cart with his beloved dog, Jake. He continued his love of music, by teaching himself to play the keyboard.  He was very patriotic and loved his country. Family was extremely important to him, and he loved all his children and grandchildren dearly. Jerry had a loving caring heart with a wonderfully outgoing personality. He enjoyed volunteering with Hope in Lancaster.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Joanne Strittholt; a son, Ryan Goss (Dana Hubbard); four daughters, Kimberly Strittholt, Amy Parlier (Michael), Angela Strittholt; and Kristin Couch (Kent); eight grandchildren; a brother, Todd Strittholt (Joy); a sister, Linda White; two nieces; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Strittholt.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date in Cincinnati, OH.
