FORT LAWN, SC ~ Mr. Jerry Jerome Barrineau Sr., age 85, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022. He was born January 24, 1937, in Great Falls, SC, a son of the late Theron Barrineau and Mary Evelyn Fincher Barrineau and was the husband of Dorothy Lee Gladden Barrineau. Mr. Barrineau proudly served in The United States Air Force in crash rescue. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and watching any cowboy movie. Mr. Barrineau loved wearing cowboy hats, eating reese's cups, and was and avid Carolina Gamecock Fan… "There's always next year". He never met a stranger and was always the life of the party, he was certainly a jokester. Mr. Barrineau's favorite thing to do was to cook and spend time with his family. Everywhere he went he pulled out his wallet to show everyone a picture of his beautiful wife. He was a member of Fort Lawn Church of God.

Mr. Barrineau is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy "Dot" Barrineau; his son, Jerry Barrineau Jr. (Patty); his daughter, Tina Miller (Harold); six grandchildren, JJ Barrineau (Alisha), Josh Barrineau, Kristen Miller (Fiancé, Darrin Wyles); Zack Miller (Monique), Garrett Byers, and Brittany Oliveira; eight grandchildren, Danielle Denise, Mikayla Jo, Madison Grace, Alexis Maria, Cameron Joshua, Jayden Jeremiah, Jamison Dill, and Taylor Dill; and his brother, Rodger Dale Barrineau.

Mr. Barrineau was preceded in death by his parents, Theron and Mary Barrineau; and two brothers, Jimmy and Alton Barrineau.

The Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Mr. Barrineau will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Fort Lawn Church of God officiated by his son, Rev. Jerry Barrineau Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm, one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, memorials may be made to Fort Lawn Church of God, Building Fund, PO Box 15, Fort Lawn, SC, 29714.
