LANCASTER, S.C.:::::::::: Mr. Jerry Lynn Sims age 61 of 2374 New Cut Church Road died Thursday November 25, 2010 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill S.C. He was born October 14, 1949 In Union County N.C., the son of Margaret Leona Barr Sims and the late William James Sims. Mr. Sims was a delivery clerk for Advance Auto in Lancaster and a member of New Cut Presbyterian Church. Mr. Sims is survived by his mother Leona Barr Sims a son Dwayne Sims and wife Evelyn, a brother Jackie Sims and half-brother Randy Sims all of LancasterThe Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Sims will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, November 28, 2010 at New Cut Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Wayne Dickson and Rev. Jerry Branham. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Family of Mr. Sims will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Saturday, November 27. 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions be made to New Cut Presbyterian Church, 2617 New Cut Church Road Lancaster, SC 29720.
