LANCASTER, SC:::::::::::: Mr. Jerry Beckham Hinson Sr., age 71, died Tuesday, February14, 2017 at White Oak Manor. He was born September 11,1945 in Lancaster County, the son of the late William Vanny Hinson and Reath Marie Harris Hinson and was the husband of the late Judy Yvonne Starnes Hinson. Mr. Hinson worked for Springs Industries. He enjoyed comic books, GI Joes, and looking at cars. He was an avid Clemson fan. He loved spending time with his family and friends and especially his granddaughter. Mr. Hinson was a member of the Jackson Masonic Lodge and of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Hinson is survived by two sons, Jerry Beckham Hinson, Jr. and his wife, Laura Anne, and William Arthur Hinson; a sister, Billie H. Steele; a granddaughter, Kaitlyin Marie Hinson; and a special niece, Emily Stacks.

Mr. Hinson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy Hinson; a brother, William Bruce Hinson; and a sister, Doris Elizabeth Hinson.

The Celebration of Life Graveside Service for Mr. Hinson will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 17, 2017 at Fork Hill Baptist Church by Rev. Donald Tillman and Rev. Charles Hammond.

The family will receive friends following the service and suggest memorial contributions be made to the Lancaster Childrens Home, PO Box 416, Lancaster, SC 29721.
