LANCASTER, SC :::::::: Mr. Jerry E. "Eddie" Haile, Jr., age 49, died Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital. He was born August 17, 1963 in Lancaster County, the son of Betty Pitmon Helms and the late Jerry Edgar Haile, Sr. and was the husband of Brenda Bailey Haile. Mr. Haile worked for Pike Electric and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Mr. Haile is survived by his wife, Brenda B. Haile, his mother, Betty P. Helms of N. Myrtle Beach, a son, Clint Edward Haile of Lancaster, a daughter, Katrina Smith and her husband Keith of Rock Hill, a sister, Barbara Haile of Lancaster, and 2 grandchildren, Gabriela and Alexander Scott.

Mr. Haile was preceded in death by a sister, Kim Haile Burbach.

The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Haile will be 2:00 pm, Friday, June 14, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Bateman. Burial will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park.

The Family of Mr. Haile will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Hartley Burgess Funeral Home and suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, Lancaster Co. Relay for Life, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
