LANCASTER, SC :::::::::: Mr. Jerry Lynn Beatty, age 65, of 542 Mosteller Drive, died Saturday, February 27, 2010 at his home. He was born July 21, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late John Wesley Beatty and Hattie Virginia Hinson Beatty and was the husband of Vickie Arant Beatty. Mr. Beatty retired from Soliant and was a Mason. He enjoyed camping and hot rods and was a member of Pleasant Dale Baptist Church.Mr. Beatty is survived by his wife, Vickie Arant Beatty of the home, a son, Mark D. Beatty and his wife April of Lancaster, three daughters, Teresa B. Hurst and her husband Rhett of Clover, Christi E. Mills and her husband Daniel and Traci H. Cauthen and her husband Ricky all of Lancaster, seven grandchildren, Magen and Matthew Martin, Grayson and Seth Hurst, Caroline and Brice Beatty, and Lanie Cauthen, two sisters, Pat Faile and her husband Bud and Carolyn Starnes and her husband Charles all of Lancaster and special friends, Pat and Linda Small also of Lancaster.The Celebration of Life Graveside Funeral Service for Mr. Beatty will be 2:00 pm, Monday afternoon, March 1, 2010 at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Doug Taylor with burial to follow. The Family of Mr. Beatty will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday evening, February 28, 2010 at Hartley Funeral Home and suggest memorial contributions to Agape Hospice, 1317 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
